Reserve snapshots for wallets that never touch the internet

System Grovepoint produces verified quarterly reserve records for investors who custody digital assets on air-gapped hardware. Each engagement is conducted in person, on your premises, with your devices remaining offline throughout.

Quarterly evidence for offline custody

Air-Gapped Verification

On-site balance confirmation

A Grovepoint associate visits your office or secure location, witnesses balance displays on disconnected hardware wallets, and records holdings without connecting devices to any network.

Reserve Ledger

Quarterly snapshot report

Each engagement produces a dated reserve snapshot summarising asset types, approximate valuations at the time of visit, and wallet identifiers suitable for investor reporting.

Continuity

Year-over-year comparison

Returning clients receive quarter-on-quarter variance notes, highlighting additions, distributions, and any changes in custody arrangement since the prior snapshot.

What investors say about our visits

The associate arrived with a printed checklist, never asked to plug anything in, and spent forty minutes documenting each Ledger device while I watched. My LPs received the reserve letter the following week.
— H.J. Park, family office principal, Gangnam
We had tried self-reporting quarterly balances but auditors kept flagging the process. Grovepoint's on-site method gave us something defensible, though I wish they offered weekend slots for our schedule.
— S. Min, fund administrator, Yeouido

Why Quarterly Snapshots Matter for Air-Gapped Custody

Air-gapped custody removes network exposure from the storage equation. It does not remove the need for periodic evidence that holdings exist as claimed. Limited partners, auditors, and personal record-keeping all benefit from a dated, witnessed account of what sits on disconnected devices.

The gap self-reporting leaves

Many investors maintain a personal spreadsheet updated after each transaction. This works for day-to-day awareness but carries little weight with external parties. An auditor can question when the spreadsheet was last reconciled against actual device balances. A limited partner cannot verify that the figures correspond to anything physical.

Preparing Hardware Wallets for an On-Site Verification Visit

An on-site verification visit should confirm what you already know about your holdings. Preparation reduces the time spent troubleshooting device issues and keeps the focus on documentation.

Charge and test each device

Hardware wallets with depleted batteries may fail to power on or display balances slowly. Charge every device included in the engagement at least twenty-four hours before the visit. Power each one on independently to confirm the screen responds and the PIN entry works.
